What are lash extensions?
Eyelash extensions are semi-permanent eyelashes (made from either faux silk or faux mink fibres – vegan friendly!) that are applied individually to each natural lash.
What is the difference between lash extensions and strip/cluster lashes?
Eyelash extensions are different from strip and cluster lashes because they are not glued to your skin/lash line, they are applied individually to each of your natural lashes.
How long do they last?
They last for as long as your natural lash does. However, it is recommended to have a refill every 3-4 weeks to keep them looking full.
How do they feel when wearing them?
When applied correctly by a professional, they will feel very light…you probably won’t even notice you’re wearing them!
When can I not have extensions applied?
Anytime you are experiencing an eye irritation or infection, or allergies relating to skin or hair products.
Will they damage my natural lashes?
Not if applied correctly by a professionally trained eyelash extension technician. Please ensure you ask your eyelash technician about their training and experience before booking an appointment.
Can I wear lash extensions whist pregnant?
Yes...but a Patch Test will be required prior to a New Set being placed and/or a certificate from a medical practitioner will be required.
Are lash breaks required?
Not if the correct weight and length extension is applied to your natural lash and you are cleaning your lashes with one of the two products I recommend (Lash and Brow Cleanser and SteriLid) there will be no damage to your natural lashes, so there is no need to take ‘lash breaks’.
